What We Do

We support and empower people living with dementia, their carers and those who may feel lonely or isolated, enabling them to enrich their lives and enhance their wellbeing.


Dementia doesn't just affect those living with the condition, and our approach is to offer wrap around support for the whole family.

We offer opportunities for people to connect with others, take part in activities and aim to ensure that everyone can contribute and is included.


We offer a range of services, including activity groups, a Dementia Carers' Group, Wellbeing Groups, volunteering opportunities and our unique dementia-friendly Community Shed.
There's always a brew and biscuits or cake, so even if you just want to make new friends, please come and join us.

Our Values

Where We Meet

We meet at The Whitaker Museum & Art Gallery, Haslingden Road, Rossendale BB4 6RE, on the third Friday of each month, from 2:30-4:00pm
No need to book - just come along to Reception and we'll provide you with a warm welcome!


Our dementia-friendly Beacon Community Shed behind The Whitaker provides activities based on our participants' interests and is centred around each individual.
